Ways to Improve Science Grade

  • Read assigned chapter/section. Complete workbook pages of chapter/section.
  • Make quiz/test corrections if score is less than 70% by writing out each incorrect question and adding the correct answer.
  • Keep a set of 8 basic colors of colored pencils, crayons, or markers with you at all times.
  • Keep all assignments in order in binder rings in science section.
  • Study for quizzes/tests.
  • Follow lab instructions to earn lab participation points.
  • Copy info into planner each Monday, word-for-word, for credit.
  • Stop by before or after school for help.
  • Complete all missing and/or incomplete work and turn in for partial credit.
  • Turn in 10 used batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, 9V) to be correctly recycled for 20 bonus points during each grading period.
