Math - Week of 4/24/2017

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR MATH, PERIODS 6, 7, AND 8

 

TIPS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN MATH - Have your math book, spiral notebook, and all other necessary materials with you every day in class. Taking good notes, completing all the classwork/homework, and staying organized are keys to your success. Review your notes/classwork each day BEFORE you begin your homework. USE your notes while you do your homework when you get stuck on a problem. Use the Go Math online resources like the Student Interactive TE. If you have questions, ask them in class, at lunch, or after school. Take advantage of opportunities to RETAKE tests (when available); this is your chance to learn from your mistakes!

 

TESTS THIS WEEK IN MATH : none, unless you're making up tests or retaking tests

 

RETAKES available this week - 1) RETAKES for Module 8.3, 9.1/9.2, and 9.3 Quiz will be available this week (Tuesday and Thursday at lunch and Friday after school; period 3 is an option as well if your P3 teacher allows it). A few students still need to make up the Module 11 Test. Please make it up this week. The days and times available this week are the same as those mentioned above.

Period 6, 7, and 8 - 1) Finish the class work - worksheet on Data Sets (all work shown in spiral)  2) HW - Math Textbook, Pg. 454, Do the Reflect Question #4 top of page and the Guided Practice, # 1 - 3, show the work on lined paper

 

Tuesday

 

Periods 6, 7, and 8 -  1) HW - Red Workbook, Pg. 106 and 108, read and review all the information first, then complete the exercises, show work as needed in the workbook  2) Get the Module 10 Test signed!

 

Wednesday

 

Periods 6 and 7 -   1) HW - Review the notes we took in class and the sample problems we completed in the spirals, and use those examples to help you complete the Geometry packet (finish all 4 pages following the process shown in class), show all your work on lined paper, and write the answers on the worksheets

 

Thursday

FOR THE WEEK OF 4/24/2017   HERE'S THE SCOOP...

 

WELCOME BACK! We will return to school on Monday, April 24th.SBAC TESTING continues this week on Thursday! Please make sure you are getting plenty of sleep, eating a healthy breakfast, and getting to school on time. Testing will begin first thing in the morning! Good luck to all Princeton students!
