Some topics include but are not limited to: Positive discipline, Open communication, Rules and responsibilities, Parenting styles, Supporting children with academics, and Bullying. Suggestions for topics are welcomed. Agencies and organizations will be presenting throughout the year.

Anti-Bullying/Friendship Group: Interns are leading anti-bullying groups. Students will learn about the different forms of bullying such as verbal, physical, and cyber-bullying plus internet safety. Students will learn safe practices to prevent bullying, and be informed of the appropriate individuals to notify on campus such as counselors or the social worker when bullying is encountered. The group will also cover empathy, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Grief and Loss Support Group: Interns are leading a grief and loss group. Students that have lost a loved one will receive help on how to cope with that loss. Taking applications until January.
